Speak-Up Policy

The Chrysal Speak-Up policy reflects how we are doing business openly, honestly and with integrity. We encourage all of our stakeholders, including our customers, vendors and employees to Speak Up if any misconduct is noted. Help us to keep up with our commitment and get better!

What type of misconduct that could be?

Misconducts fall into definitions of misconducts and social abuses under EU Directive 2019/1937 and could include but are not limited to:

  • There is a danger to customer protection;

  • There is a danger to the safety;

  • There is a risk of environmental degradation; etc.

Who can use Speak Up?

The Speak Up system can be used by any stakeholder affected by misconduct by Chrysal, its employees or any third party representing Chrysal.

Please note that the Speak Up system is not meant for consumer complaints or other generic questions.

How can you use the Speak Up system?

The Speak Up system is available 24/7 and in English, Dutch, Spanish and Japanese language. You can confidentially raise a concern by visiting the WhistleB, Whistleblowing Centre, , which is operated by an independent third-party supplier. You will receive an individual case number that allows you to track the progress of your case and provide additional information. In order to facilitate an effective investigation and an adequate response to your concern, please include a detailed description of the incident and supporting evidence. Please note that general allegations cannot be investigated.

You can also report by phone. You can find all of the phone numbers of the country of your presence via the link: https://report.whistleb.com/en/message/chrysal/phone

If you are in the Netherlands, the hot-line is:  0800-7700020 (Dutch and English), Code: 133476

What happens after you use Speak Up?

  1. All incoming concerns through WhistleB, Whistleblowing Centre  are forwarded to the Speak-Up coordinator of Chrysal located in the Netherlands.
  2. The Speak-Up coordinator and other authorized investigators (if needed) make a preliminary assessment of whether it concerns possible misconduct and whether the case is (sufficiently) supported by evidence. You will be informed within 7 calendar days.
  3. In case of a successful preliminary investigation, a fact-finding investigation will take place. Please, keep in mind that in some cases confidentiality principle may not apply (in full) if a legal obligation exists to reveal the Reporter's identity.
  4. After conducting the investigation, the Speak-Up Coordinator will decide if the misconduct has taken place, and if so, take action. You will be informed accordingly not later than 3 months after the reporting date.
